Oct 31, 2013 The LMS had a very distinctive design of small 20ton hopper wagon for Iron Ore. I didn't see any in traffic, this selection is of wagons in internal use, and includes details of both sides.

About this site

Nov 10, 2003 I am designing a steel dump hopper / bin for an iron ore crushing plant. The hopper accepts 240 Tonne truck loads of iron ore with a maximum lump mass of 4.7 t. The bin will be constructed from steel plate which is stiffened vertically and horizontally. The horizontal stiffeners are the main stiffners to the bin and have varying spans.

Iron Ore Rail Cars (Trains): Capacity, Length, Photos

Iron ore cars, better known as simply ore jennies, are a specialized type of hopper car designed exclusively to haul heavy loads of iron ore. The car's history can trace its roots back to the mid-1800s although as Mike Schafer notes in his book, "Freight Train Cars," it wasn't until the end of that century when vast veins of ore were discovered in the Upper Midwest did the car become a common

About this site

Primary crusher product from most metalliferous ores can be crushed and screened satisfactorily, and subsequent crushing consists of one or two size-reduction stages with appropriate crushers and screens (Major, 2002).

About this site

The primary impact crushers are used to process from 200 t/h up to 1900 t/h and feed sizes of up to 1830 mm (71") in the largest model. Primary impact crushers are generally used in nonabrasive applications and where the production of fines is not a problem. Of all primary crushers, the impactor is the crusher that gives the best cubical product.

Primary Crusher Selection & Design

Dec 23, 2015 How you select your primary crusher will be based on factors like moisture content, maximum rock lump size, material density SG, abrasion index, degradability and it being prone to dusting or not. The crusher capacities given by manufacturers are typically in tons of 2,000 lbs. and are based on crushing limestone weighing loose about 2,700 lbs. per yard3 and having a specific gravity of 2.6.

Primary Crushing Mineral Processing & Metallurgy

Feb 26, 2016 The term “primary crusher,” by definition, might embrace any type and size of crushing machine. In the average quarry operation, the only surge capacity between the quarry and the primary crusher consists of whatever quantity of rock may be, at the moment, loaded in cars or trucks, and usually this is not large.
